Restylane
Loss of volume is a key sign of aging. As we age, soft tissue in the face degenerates, resulting in a thinning of the skin and a loss of firmness, plumpness and elasticity. This leads to sagging, sinking and a general flattening of facial features.
Some of the effects of lost volume
- Forehead lines and nasolabial folds become prominent
- Eyebrows droop
- Lips become thinner and the Cupid’s bow loses definition
- Marionette lines and pre-jowl depressions deepen beside the mouth
- Wrinkles, furrows, blood vessels and bone structures become more visible
Restylane Restores Volume to the Skin
When Restylane’s crystal-clear gel is injected into the skin, the result is increased volume – softening wrinkles and folds on the face. Increased volume can create facial fullness and symmetry, enhance certain facial features, and lessen the signs of aging.
Perlane
Perlane is a long-lasting gel which adds volume and assists in diminishing fine lines and wrinkles. Perlane is made of a natural substance called hyaluronic acid and is completely safe. The hyaluronic acid supplements the body’s age-depletion and acts to plump of or raise the skin while filling in the particular area being treated.
These treatments last for between six and nine months, although results will vary. Perlane is an excellent treatment for wrinkle correction, lip enhancement, smile lines and deep folds. Treatments are quick and easy, recovery time is minimal and the results are immediate and lasting.
Perlane is injected into the skin with a very thin needle. It is injected into the selected area where it restores the natural volumes underneath the wrinkle. The wrinkle will then be lifted up and smoothed out. All of this takes minimal time, leaves no marks or scars and the results can be seen immediately.
Some of the areas that Perlane may be used:
- Nasolabial Furrows – deep smile lines that run from side of the nose to corners of the mouth
- Oral Commissures – marionette Lines at the corner of the mouth
- Periorbital Lines – crow’s feet at the corner of the eyes
- Forehead Lines – worry lines that run across the forehead
- Perioral Lines – smoker’s lines which are vertical lines on the mouth
- Glabellar Lines – frown lines that run between the eyebrows
- Some facial scars
- Redefining lip border
- Cheek depressions
- Acne scars
